Brian Zeger appears regularly on the Guest Faculty of Chautauqua’s Voice Program, and is widely recognized as one of today’s leading collaborative pianists. He has performed with many of the world’s greatest vocalists including Marilyn Horne, Deborah Voigt, Anna Netrebko, Susan Graham and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. In addition to his distinguished concert career, he also serves as Artistic Director of the Vocal Arts Department at The Juilliard School. He is joined by three Chautauqua colleagues for this French-themed chamber music concert featuring Faure’s profound Piano Quartet No. 2 in G minor.

Violinist Nurit Pacht is a top prize-winner in international competitions including the Irving Klein International Music Competition and the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition. A former student of renowned Chautauqua faculty member Almita Vamos, Pacht is now a Chautauqua School of Music faculty member herself. Violist and violinist Kathryn Votapek was a member of the Chester String Quartet for 15 years, and now maintains an active career as soloist and as guest artist at music festivals such as Chautauqua throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. Tobias Werner is the music director at The Chamber Music Conference of the East, artistic director of Pressenda Chamber Players, and is an Arts for the Aging (AFTA) teaching artist.
