The Winter Village at Chautauqua

Join in the magic of Winter Village at Chautauqua Institution

Chautauqua Institution will host the third annual Winter Village on selected weekends starting November 29–December 1 and December 21–22. Admission to the grounds is FREE and parking is open to the public. Festivities highlight on-grounds shopping and dining, and include special events such as wine and food pairing dinners, horse-drawn carriage and sleigh rides, and other seasonal activities.

Friends and neighbors from Chautauqua County and beyond are invited to join us on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution to take part in the birth of a very special collaboration — starring you! Help us show the nation the true character, ideas and beauty of the Chautauqua region and its people.  

Winter Village Igloo

This spectacular heated tent, located between the Smith Memorial Library and Hultquist Center, will serve as a warm and delightful venue for several events and activities, including: 

  • Beverage bar, including warm holiday drinks and other beverages 
  • Reverie Creamery Cheese Bar with Wine Pairings  
  • Ice Princess Meet and Greet (tickets required) 
  • Wine Tastes and Small Plates (tickets required) 
  • Holiday Music
