Mr. Kole Maytum, PGA
Director of Instruction
Chautauqua Golf Club and Learning Center will be led by Director of Instruction, Mr. Kole Maytum. Kole comes to Chautauqua after an eight month stay at Waterleaf Golf and River Club in Bradenton, FL. Before that, Kole worked for the CC of North Carolina from June 2022–August 2023. Kole graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management, with a concentration in Professional Golf Management and a minor in Business Administration. Kole has led a PGA Junior League team at both of his affiliated clubs, and has taught at all levels for the past two years.

Learning Center
Closed for the 2024 season
Opened in the spring of 2008, our Golf Learning Center is a complete teaching and practice facility. Situated on 25 scenic acres overlooking Chautauqua Lake, the center boasts a 300-yard driving range; two putting greens; a chipping green with fairway, rough and bunker approaches; three practice holes; a support building with indoor teaching spaces, patio and bathrooms; and parking. The Learning Center operates with a “state of the art” ball dispenser for use from dawn to dusk.
Intended to serve golfers of all ages and skill levels, the Learning Center is a non-intimidating environment that’s ideal for families, school golf teams, youth groups and community agencies, as well as individuals. The Learning Center offers an extensive curriculum of group clinics, junior golf camps and outstanding private instruction. All members of the Chautauqua Golf Club receive full access to the Learning Center facility as part of their regular membership. Separate memberships to the Learning Center only may also be purchased.
