CHQ on a Budget offers an affordable, dormitory-style stay during Weeks Eight (Aug. 16–22) and Nine (Aug. 23–29) of the Summer Assembly. Spend a full week immersed in lectures, concerts, conversation and lakeside summer traditions.

2026 Cost
Cost: $1,295 per person
Pricing includes lodging, breakfast and dinner, a Chautauqua Gate Pass for admission to all Amphitheater programs, and parking. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of registration, with full payment due at the time of booking. Once sold out, names will be placed on a waiting list.
The total balance is due at the time of booking. After June 1, all deposits are non-refundable. We recommend that you consider purchasing third-party trip cancellation insurance.
Add-on Options
A limited number of single rooms or private baths are available for an additional $339 per request.
Facilities and Services

Lodging is available at the newly renovated Greene Family Commons (formerly Bellinger Hall), a two-story retreat center featuring double rooms (2 twin beds in each) with shared, connecting bathroom. Towels and bedding are provided. All meals are served in the Greene Family Commons cafeteria.
