Message from the Senior Philanthropic Adviser to the President

Fulfilling the vision and objectives of 150 Forward — the Institution’s strategic plan — invites and demands a significant investment. Generous philanthropy has been central to re-energizing the Institution over the past several decades. And it is crucial for Chautauqua to engage more fully in the larger society and thus flourish during the summer.

Our role in the Office of Advancement is to assist you in aligning your charitable interests with opportunities at Chautauqua. We are eager to work with you to help you create an impact both here and in society. Whether you love the arts, are concerned about public policy, have an interest in bringing together multiple generations in shared learning experiences, want to deepen the consideration of faith in public and private life or care about the environment, your philanthropy can find an outlet at the Institution. And as so many do, if you care about all these things, there is no place comparable to Chautauqua to make a difference.
