Chautauqua Theater Company’s 2020 Black Lives Matter Statement

Chautauqua Theater Company stands together with our Black artists, patrons, and families that are hurting as a result of the past and current injustices forced onto the Black Community.
We speak out loud that we are against racism, we fight for equality, safety for all and are allies, advocates, and activists.
We will continue to seek out ways in which we can affect change aggressively.

We will speak up and speak out.
We are committed to fighting alongside all communities that are fighting racism and violence against one and another.
We will not be quiet.
Though difficult in this time of quarantine to create community, we encourage all to take action. We share below some of the ways that you can.
