About Sam

Sam Minardi serves Chautauqua as the Schools of Performing & Visual Arts (PAVA) and Arts Education coordinator. She helps facilitate the numerous arts programs held by the Institution during the Summer Assembly, and during the regular school year. 

Originally from Long Island, New York, Sam recently finished her Master of Music in percussion performance at SUNY Fredonia, where she was a teaching assistant for classes and several music ensembles. She is currently a member of the Western New York Chamber Orchestra (WNYCO), and maintains a small private teaching studio.

Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?

After participating in my first Summer Assembly in 2022 as a seasonal employee, I knew that Chautauqua was a place that I wanted to be at year-round.
