About Michael
I joined the Chautauqua Institution team in January 2022 as the patron record manager and data integrity steward. In this role, I am responsible for implementing and managing a data governance program that the Institution will use to manage its data assets. Also, as part of the Technology Modernization Implementation plan, I will assist in the configuration and management of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that will be used to consolidate our existing patron data. This will allow us to enhance our visitor experience, foster a proactive service culture, and provide a single source of the truth for leadership to use to make data-driven decisions.
Prior to joining the Institution, I worked for 16 years in a variety of process engineering, business analysis, program management, and digital transformation roles for AIG in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining AIG, I worked for seven years as a process and metallurgical engineer at North Star Steel (Cargill) in Monroe, Michigan. I graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in applied science and engineering.

After moving to Chautauqua full-time in 2016, I wanted to serve and support Chautauqua’s mission. I like Chautauqua’s strong sense of community.
