About Holly
Holly joined Chautauqua Institution in 2025, bringing a deep passion for the arts and over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and organizational leadership. With a career that bridges corporate and nonprofit sectors, Holly has led creative and strategic marketing efforts that have elevated cultural institutions, supported artist-driven initiatives, and grown audience engagement across varied platforms.
Born and raised in Chautauqua County, Holly attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City before spending a decade in Washington, D.C., where she built a career in the private sector focusing on human resources management. She later returned to western New York to reconnect with her roots and dedicate herself more fully to the arts community she’s long cherished.
Holly has served on the Board of Directors for the Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown since 2014 where she has acted as board president and chair of the Marketing Committee. During her tenure, she has overseen business operations, cultivated partnerships with local media, and developed creative campaigns that helped rebuild patron engagement following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?
Chautauqua Institution has been an anchor in my life for as long as I can remember — from attending programs as a child to performing on the Amphitheater stage in high school with the Jr. Guilders to working at the Athenaeum Hotel during college. The opportunity to merge my love of the arts with my professional background in marketing, all within a cultural center as rich and dynamic as Chautauqua, is incredibly fulfilling. It’s inspiring to be part of a place where creativity, education and purpose come together in such meaningful ways.
