About Heather

I am the cash control accountant in the Finance department of Chautauqua Institution. I work with an outstanding finance team, which has been my favorite work environment of team members and experience in my career. The Institution is truly a unique and wonderful place to be, and I hope to work the rest of my career and working years here. I also worked at the front desk of the Athenaeum Hotel during the summer program season located on Institution grounds. This position gave me wonderful experiences meeting people from all over.

Before the Institution, I worked two healthcare jobs during the peak of COVID as a certified pharmacy technician and a care coordinator. Prior to that, I had worked in administrative and financial offices.

Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?

I have wanted to work at Chautauqua Institution for years. My in-laws have strong ties here and I have always loved Chautauqua Institution and the wonderful environment of learning and culture.      

Current and Former Volunteer or Board Roles

I volunteer time for our kids’ school/sports programs.

Personal Interests

I love to hunt and target shoot, fish, kayak, ride ATVs, and watch movies.
