About Crystal

I am a catering manager who focuses primarily on the beverage aspect. In my five years at the Athenaeum, I have had the privilege to run private lunches for our speakers, dinners and buffets for our Chautauqua guests, and take care of brides and grooms on their special day. The history of the hotel is my favorite topic to share with guests. Before working at the Athenaeum, I opened chain restaurants.

Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?

I chose to work for Chautauqua because one day you can hear opera, the next day you are watching ballets, and learning about all different world topics. It is the magic of Chautauqua that I love, and the diversity of guests.
