About Carolyn

Carolyn Snider has been the administrative assistant in the department of religion since 2016. She especially loves working with the guests and people affiliated with the department. Before that, she worked in the Chautauqua Bookstore for 9 years as a shipping and receiving clerk. She has an associate degree in engineering.

Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?

She loves working at Chautauqua because of all the great people that come here, fabulous co-workers and for the love of learning.

Personal Interests

You will often find Carolyn at the gym swimming, spinning or taking a run because of her love of food. (Or is it really because her dream goal is to compete in a triathlon next year?) She also enjoys quilting and gardening in her off-time.
