About Amanda

I grew up in Chautauqua County, and first came to the Institution as a student participant of the NYSSMA Concerts and Chautauqua Dance “open classes.” During college, I worked at the Chautauqua Archives and Bookstore over the summers. In addition to the occasional summer season after college, I also worked as a private archivist for the Chautauqua Women’s Club, Bird Tree & Garden Club, and Miller-Edison family. I became Assistant Manager at the Chautauqua Bookstore in 2017. I graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in History and Medieval Studies. My other experience includes work in the library, archival, hospitality, transcription, and standardized testing fields in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Personal Interests

In my free time, I enjoy reading (excessively) and gardening (poorly and enthusiastically).
