About Allyson

Allyson is the social media and content manager at Chautauqua Institution. She works with other members of the Marketing team to develop a content creation plan and launch social media marketing campaigns that resonate with the Institution’s goals.   

Allyson is from Allegany, New York, and previously served as a digital media intern for The American Democracy Project at Fredonia (2021-2022), Kelly Design and Development (2022) and the Fredonia Communication Department (2023). Her intern experience led to an interest in creating content that uniquely frames the values, ideas, strengths and offerings unique to an organization. As such, she is excited to produce creative and dynamic content that captures the heart of the Chautauqua experience.

Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?

I chose to work at Chautauqua because I know the value of an organization that supports both its employees and patrons in the pursuit of knowledge, personal growth and creative expression.

Personal Interests

I have a deep appreciation for nature and like to take a bit of time each day to get outside. I enjoy running, hiking and walking just to take in the surrounding environment.
