CTC’s FREE outdoor Shakespeare returns with a magical midsummer comedy. Follow jealous lovers, mischievous fairies and first time players as they journey through the woods. Love potions, live music and physical comedy enchant in this energetic 90-minute version of Shakespeare’s most beloved play.

This show is family-friendly. 

Please note: to attend the performances at the Chautauqua Institution you will need to purchase a gate pass. Afternoon gate passes can be purchased for $15 at The Main Gate Welcome Center.

Costume Design- Dixon Reynolds Candor, NC/Buffalo, NY. CTC: First Season. Associate Professor of Costume Design at State University of New York at Fredonia and a freelance costume designer. His designs are seen in a broad range of styles from Theatre, Dance, Opera, Film and his favorite, new and experimental theatrical works, including musicals! Some of his designs have been seen at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, The Hangar Theatre, Music Theatre Wichita, The Irish Classical Theatre, The Kavinoky Theatre, ART Park, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, The Hartt School of Music, Triad Stage, Summer Repertory Theatre, and American Dance Festival. He has also worked in the Costume Departments at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Roanoke Festival Park, HBO Productions and CBS Productions.
