Recorded in front of a live audience and hosted by Ken Hardley, this ongoing series features live musical performances from regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists, celebrating grassroots Americana music. This summer’s show at Chautauqua will feature singer/songwriter/guitarist Christine Lavin and western swing music duo The Farmer & Adele. Christine Lavin is an incredibly prolific musician, with her recently released 23rd solo album  Spaghettification reaching No. 5 on the Folk DJ listings. The Farmer & Adele, formed in Nashville by Grace Adele and Keenan Wade, represents a new wave of musicians revitalizing familiar styles rooted in the American landscape with a one-two punch of classic-meets-modern.
