Dear Troy & Chautauqua GC Friends,

For the past eighteen years NJCAA golfers, coaches, and fans have traveled to your beautiful part of the country to compete for individual and team National Championships. The Lake Course has identified outstanding players each year. Regardless of weather conditions the course is always in fantastic shape, thanks to Trevor and the Crew, and the tournament administration is always amazingly efficient and knowledgeable.

While Chautauqua GC provides a tremendous championship atmosphere, what I’ve come to know through my own experiences and from the thousands of participants and fans who’ve enjoyed the event over the years is that it is the people of the Chautauqua and Jamestown community that truly make our time there so special.

Players and coaches are always eager to get back to Chautauqua each year. Yes, because of the opportunity to compete, but quite often it’s to renew relationships that they’ve formed with volunteers, the professional staff, and those in the community that they look forward to seeing when going out for a meal or getting an ice cream after their round.

Chautauqua is a special place rich in history, beauty, and charm and we in the NJCAA are fortunate to be able to call it home for the Division III Golf Nationals. Thanks to you, Jamestown CC and all of the many fine people who make this event possible each year.

Warm regards and someday I will learn that all putts really do break to the lake!
