We challenged Isaiah to a 30-second interview. Here is what he told us:

Q: What is your favorite opera?
A:One of my favorite operas is Aida, mainly for the final scene with Aida and Radames buried in the tomb; it has some of my all-time favorite music.

Q: Who are your favorite singers?
A: I love Cesare Siepi and Samuel Ramey.

Q: What are your dream roles?
A: My dreams roles include Banquo, Mephistopheles (Gounod's AND Boito's), Mustafa, King Philip, and Nick Shadow.

Q: What was your favorite singing experience so far or your favorite role that you have performed?
A: Picking favorites is hard!...but Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola was particularly fun--he has great music to sing and the character is hilarious.

Q: What do you love about opera?
A: I love when everything in an opera comes together and makes me have feelings. But mainly I love amazing singing.
Q: What is your favorite flavor of icecream?
A:Rocky Road! Coffee ice cream is a close second.

Q: What else should we know?
A:I am a card shark and a coffee snob.
