Chautauqua Theatre Company (CTC) is seeking remote educators to join the 2021 Virtual Teaching Staff for their Acting Conservatory. Founded 30 years ago and now under the leadership of Artistic Director Andrew Borba and Associate Artistic Director Stori Ayers, the Acting Conservatory is comprised of young emerging actors from all over the country and is considered one of the premier summer training ensembles in America. For the second year, CTC will offer a curriculum of courses, taught virtually, to a conservatory of approximately 30 actors. Ideal candidates are theatre practitioners, master level educators, or experts in their field of study who can teach their craft virtually and who are committed to educating the next generation of actors.

CTC virtual classes are designed to bring high-quality arts enrichment to current MFA Acting students from various institutions and at varying stages in their training. Educators will have the opportunity to design and offer their very own virtual course based in their area of expertise. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in working with master level students, communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to facilitate group discussions around difficult conversations and a sensitivity to the students who present challenges learning virtually and/or during very difficult times.
