Sunday: Family BBQ

Spend an afternoon in Bestor Plaza enjoying delicious BBQ, wine, beer and soft drinks with the family in Bestor Plaza. From noon to 4 p.m. the Plaza will have bands playing and recreational activities for all ages. A Food Festival Pass is not needed this day and parking is free until 2:30 p.m.!

Monday: The Ultimate Chef Experience

Taste the best from Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh as we feature restaurants and chefs. Guests can spend the day sampling and ordering beer, wine and food from the top restaurants alongside cooking competitions, food demonstrations, entertainment and other interactive activities. The stage in Bestor Plaza will feature two cooking competitions and demonstrations throughout the day.

Tuesday: A Taste of Chautauqua

Spend a day relishing in the best that Chautauqua County offers in food, drink and artistic and musical talent. From noon to 9 p.m., guests will be delighted by local restaurants, wineries and breweries alongside entertainment from the stage in Bestor Plaza and recreational and food- and drink- based activities throughout the day. You’ll also be able to purchase the featured craft beverages and food products to enjoy at home.

Wednesday: Food Truck Rodeo

Enjoy dozens of food trucks from Buffalo, Rochester and beyond as we celebrate a day of food, music and fun! Enjoy live music from the stage in Bestor Plaza plus beer, wine and other beverages that will be offered.

Thursday: The Ultimate Wine Tasting

Sip the best wine from the region while enjoying interactive activates, such as “Are you a Supertaster,” and demonstrations throughout the day. With the purchase of a tasting ticket, you will receive a souvenir glass to sample the hand-crafted wines and artisanal beverages vendors have to offer as well as a tasting sheet so you can make notations and decide what you want to purchase to enjoy at home. You’ll also be able to purchase locally made cheese plates, sauces, olive oils, desserts and so much more. The stage in Bestor Plaza will feature beer and wine cocktail demonstrations and music through the day.

Friday: Homesteading & Artisanal Market 
| Evening Clambake

Friday celebrates the talents of a bygone era with workshops and chef demonstrations that appeal to a wide range of interests such as artisanal food preparation, canning, cider-making, pickling and other DIY skills. This day focuses on self-sufficiency -- characterized by growing and preserving food and creating delicious farm-to-table meals. Well-respected Chefs with a DIY focus will be featured throughout the day on the stage in Bestor Plaza alongside a marketplace of artisanal producers. As a market style event, you’ll be able to purchase the craft beverages and food products you love to enjoy them at home!

Friday Night Clambake

Join us in Miller Park from 6-9 p.m. on Friday for a beachside clambake and beer garden. At 8:15 p.m. guests may head to the Amphitheater for an evening with the Texas Tenors and their unique blend of Broadway, country, classical and current pop music with breathtaking vocals, humor and a touch of cowboy charm.

Tasting Tickets

 

Food Festival Tasting Tickets: $1 per ticket, on top of entry pass
Allows you to purchase food and drinks at all vendors in Bestor Plaza and Miller Park throughout the week. 

 

The Ultimate Wine Tasting Event Ticket (Thursday, August 24 only): $10 per ticket, on top of entry pass

Includes a Chautauqua Institution Food and Drink Festival souvenir glass and samples from each of the craft beverage and artisan food vendors. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased this day.            

 

Tasting tickets will be for sale in Bestor Plaza throughout the week. No Entry Passes are needed for Sunday, Aug. 20 and all events are free on that day. Entry pass is non-transferrable. Unused tasting tickets are non-refundable.
