Weather permitting, the Chautauqua Golf Club is open 7 a.m.–6 p.m. daily.
On rainy days, inquiries should be directed to tmoss@chq.org and Head Pro Troy Moss will respond via email. Follow us on Facebook and see below to stay apprised of the latest updates regarding COVID-19-related regulations.

Dear Chautauqua Golf Club Members,

The following is the latest guidance from the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services on requirements for safe play:

  • Golf carts are allowed but only one single occupant may use a cart at any given time. No sharing between golfers in a group is allowed. Staff will clean/disinfect carts between use.
  • Limited bathroom facilities are open for public use, one person at a time.
  • No public access is permitted to the clubhouse, pro shop, bag room or locker rooms.
  • No caddies.
  • All golfers must maintain proper social distancing at all times; this is mandatory, no exceptions.
  • Maintenance personnel are permitted to work on the golf course; social distancing guidelines must be followed.
  • Golfers must pay greens fees over telephone or online.

Operational updates:

  • It is important to call ahead to reserve a tee time. We also ask that all golfers check in at the Pro Shop before play. These actions help us plan for staffing and ensures that we are able to maintain accurate rounds played data, etc.
  • The Pro Shop is staffed 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and curb-side sales of merchandise are now available. Call the Pro Shop at 716-357-6211 to place your order.
  • The Learning Center driving range, putting greens and practice holes are now available for use. Staff will be onsite weekdays Noon to 7 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Private lessons with David Wedzik, Erik Barzeski and Jim Yurkewicz can be scheduled by calling 716-357-6480.
  • The beverage cart will operate, weather permitting, Wednesdays–Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill will be available on the Double Eagle patio (parking lot side) in a drive-thru style on Saturdays and Sundays 11a.m. to 4 p.m., again weather permitting.

At Chautauqua you can expect a golf experience built on service and quality; a golf experience designed for challenge and the enjoyment of this great game; a golf experience mindful of the importance of environmental stewardship; and, with two four-star rated courses, a golf experience that offers real choice and variety.

Legendary architects Seymour Dunn and Donald Ross left their legacy here. Hall of Famers from Ben Hogan to Sam Snead have walked these fairways. Statesmen, celebrities, and performers attending the world-renowned Chautauqua Institution have eagerly challenged our courses as well.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Chautauqua Golf Club!
